Approval and Registration Requirements for Chiptuning in Vehicle Documents
When installing IOBOX additional control units, please note that the General Operating Permit (GOP) of the vehicle becomes void if the installation is not immediately inspected by an officially recognized testing facility in accordance with § 19 StVZO and confirmed in accordance with § 22 StVZO. This means that the performance enhancement must be registered in the vehicle documents.
Please note that IOTUNING GmbH does not offer component approvals for IOBOX products. However, registration in the vehicle documents is still possible and can be carried out through a paid individual approval at a recognized testing facility. As the exact process and costs for individual approval vary on a case-by-case basis, we recommend that you contact the relevant testing facility for detailed information.

International buyers and customers are required to comply with the national legal regulations of their respective countries. Impact on Warranty and Guarantee Claims
